Trekking of Choquequirao - 4J:
Trek overview:
Choquequirao is an Inca site, the remnant of a vast lost city within the Valley of Vilcabamba, and its access is hard-earned: no car or other type of transport can take you there. A magnificent trek during which the concept of adventure takes on its full meaning. The physical effort required to reach this destination is intense - elevation changes, steep paths - but is greatly rewarded by the beauty of the scenery that will accompany you during these 4 days of walking. And the highlight of the walk is the arrival at the site in an exceptional environment, among the richest in biodiversity in the country. Perched on a mountain and on the edge of the Amazon rainforest, the "Cradle of Gold" (in Quechua) is said to have been the last refuge of the Incas against Spanish occupation. We invite you to discover the "Sacred Sister of Machu Picchu" via a round-trip trek with extremely varied landscapes, from snow-capped mountains to humid forests, passing through one of the deepest canyons in the world, the Apurimac canyon.

Inca Trail Trek - 4 Days
Trek overview:
The Inca Trail trek is a trek that we can sell, but that we do not like to sell!
Here are the reasons:
This trek is suffering from a considerable trend effect. It is very crowded, authorities have limited the number of departures to 200 people (tourists) per day. Knowing that for every tourist, there are about four support staff (guide, cook, porters), this can make for over 800 people each day on the same path.
On the other hand, only a few large agencies have the right to operate this trek. We, like most other agencies, have no choice but to subcontract these four days. Four days during which we cannot supervise the logistics, the food, we do not know the staff, etc.
On the Inca Trail, the camping areas for porters and tourists are separate, so there is no interaction between tourists and Peruvians.
On the Inca Trail paths, donkeys cannot pass, so it is often heavily laden porters in sandals who carry all the equipment. We have a different vision of hiking.
In short, in our eyes it's an "industrial" trek.
We do not criticize the trail itself which is beautiful and has a great asset, which is that it leads to Machu Picchu.
If, knowing this, you still wish to integrate the Inca Trail into your circuit, we can still offer it to you.
If you prefer to aim for another trek, we will be pleased to offer you our itineraries in the White Mountain Range, Huayhuash Range, Choquequirao, Ausangate, etc.

Apu Ausangate Trek - 5 Days:
Trek overview:
The Apu trek is a breathtaking trek that takes place over five days through the Vilcanota Mountain Range. The route taken is called "Camino del Apu Ausangate", it passes very close to the highest sacred mountain in the province of Cusco. "Apu" designates the Lord and Guardian of one of the purest mountain ecosystems in the world.
Llamas and horses participate in our treks to carry our equipment. They belong to breeders from the Chillca community who are proud to share with us their lands as well as the Spirit of their inspiring world.
Each day during our hikes and within our « Tambos » or unique Andean Lodges, meals are prepared by experienced chefs who introduce you to a wide variety of delicious Peruvian dishes all while listening to authentic local music performed by locals who will entertain the evenings at the « tambos ».
